Overview
A showcase of Emirati musical talent, this recital series presents a variety of programmes spanning classical and traditional Arabic repertoire, intricate compositions and contemporary works. Mezzo-soprano Fatima Al Hashimi, accompanied by pianist Ina Charelli, brings warmth and lyricism to a programme that highlights both her expressive voice and the piano’s sensitive accompaniment. Oud virtuosos Saif Al Naqbi and Mubarak Al Dhaheri, joined by qanun player Noura Al Marzouqi, perform in a programme presented in collaboration with Beit Al Oud, celebrating the richness and heritage of Arabic music. Cellist Elham Al Marzouqi, the UAE’s first professional female Emirati cellist, performs works ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, showcasing the cello’s expressive depth and resonant tone.
Each recital offers an intimate and engaging experience, highlighting the technical mastery, musical sensitivity and expressive richness of Emirati artistry.

Emirati mezzo-soprano Fatima Al Hashimi brings a voice of warmth, accompanied by pianist Ina Chareli. Showcasing their musical sensitivity and interpretive skill, the pieces alternate between tender, reflective songs and more vibrant, expressive moments, creating a performance that is both engaging and emotionally resonant.

Fatima Al Hashmi is a distinguished Emirati opera singer, recognised for her contributions to the UAE’s cultural landscape. She has performed internationally at prestigious venues such as the Bolshoi Theatre and Enescu Hall, collaborating with renowned orchestras representing the UAE in diplomatic and cultural events. With a background in performing arts management, she is committed to bridging performance, education and research.
Al Hashimi is a leading figure in the UAE’s music scene, inspiring the next generation by demonstrating that a career in music is both viable and impactful. Her work promotes artistic excellence while fostering cultural appreciation and education. Passionate about advancing the arts, she continuously seeks opportunities to elevate Emirati talent on the global stage. She has performed in 20 different languages across Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
As a cultural ambassador and role model, she is dedicated to shaping the future of music in the UAE through performance, mentorship and academic research. She is an artist-in-residence at the American University of Sharjah and a founding member of Emirati Musicians Association.
