The UN Chamber Music Society (UNCMS), in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Festival, will present a special concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in New York City to celebrate World Arabic Language Day. This annual event honors the Arabic language’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage and its pivotal role in the development of art and science.

The concert will feature a diverse program that includes both classical and contemporary Arabic music, showcasing the linguistic and musical diversity of the Arab world. The repertoire will encompass a variety of popular and classical music from the Arab region, reflecting Arabic’s historic role in the development of art and science. The program will also underscore the pressing need for global solidarity and support for Arabic-speaking countries in the grip of humanitarian crises.

Artists

Founded in 2016 by Brenda Vongova, the UN Chamber Music Society is dedicated to promoting the United Nations' goals and values at large - through the universal language of music.
