The capital’s premier outdoor cultural celebration is back, with two days and nights of eclectic and diverse activities in visual, community and performance arts – including live stand-up comedy – from across the seven Emirates, all taking place in the beautiful Umm Al Emarat Park.

Attend inspiring book readings with ADMAF-supported Emirati authors, learn how the region’s unique cultural handicrafts are produced, be amazed as children of determination perform in the UAE Theatre Circle, experience Emirati cinema and an evening of stand-up comedy.

4 pm – 10 pm

A full day and night of the Crafts Market, where you’ll find s selection of the best local handicrafts produced by organisations such as Al Ghadeer, Zayed Higher Organisation for Special Needs, the General Women’s Union and The Camel Soap Factory

4 pm – 6 pm

Book reading club with Emirati writers, Children Crafts Workshops, The Garden of Strengths sculpture making workshop, Selection of Korean crafts in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre, The Sound of Hope instruments making workshop

5:45 pm – 7 pm

Marching Drums and Drumming Workshop

7 pm – 8 pm

“Mirrors of Creativity”, UAE Theatre Circle performance by children of determination

8 pm – 9:30 pm

Cinema Club screening of The Brain That Sings, directed by Amal Al Agroobi

8 pm – 9 pm

Stand-up Comedy: Wonho Chung – in Arabic and English

  1. A stipend will be provided to selected supers for rehearsal and performance days as well catering service throughout.

 

  1. Applicants MUST confirm availability for company auditions and commit to attending ALL REHEARSALS prior to the performances.
